Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru has dismissed the Commissioner for Works, Stanley Mbam, from office.
Nwifuru, in a statement on Saturday by his Chief Press Secretary, Dr Monday Uzor, directed Mbam to hand over all government property in his possession, including official vehicles, to the Secretary to the State Government.
“Mbam is directed to transfer responsibilities to the permanent secretary in the ministry,” he said.

The governor assured the people of Ebonyi State of his administration’s focus on delivering effective governance and improving public infrastructure.
No official reason was given for the commissioner’s removal.
However, there has been increased public outcry over delayed delivery of infrastructure by the Nwifuru administration in the state.
