GTCO rakes in N169.7bn profit in 9 months

Guaranty Trust Holding Company (GCTO) Plc has recorded a profit before tax of N169.7 billion for the first nine months of 2022.

The Group recorded N151.9 billion in the corresponding period ended September 2021.

The company paid N39.3 billion as taxes for the period while profit after tax stood at N130.3 billion.

In its Audited Consolidated and Separate Financial Statements for the period ended September 30, 2022, sent to the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX) and London Stock Exchange (LSE) on Tuesday October 25, the Group’s total assets rose to N5.8 trillion from N5.4 trillion in the corresponding period in 2021 while the shareholders’ funds closed at N872.8 billion.
