The management of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife in Osun State, has postponed the resumption of academic activities of the institution earlier scheduled for March 15 to March 21, 2023.
This was contained in a statement issued on Sunday by the OAU spokesperson, Abiodun Olanrewaju.
Olanrewaju noted that the resumption was shifted due to the governorship and Houses of Assembly elections that were postponed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from March 11 to 18.

“Consequently, students are expected back on campus on Monday, 20th March 2023, and to resume academic activities accordingly.
“We wish our students safe trips back to the campus,” he added.
