Gunmen abduct hotelier, worker in Oyo

Gunmen have abducted a hotelier and a staff member in the Aba area of Ogbomoso of Oyo State.

It was gathered that the hotelier had just returned to Ogbomoso from a trip before he was abducted with the worker from the hotel on Thursday evening.

It was further learnt that the gunmen, numbering about 10, fired gunshots to scare the residents of the area before whisking the victims to an unknown destination.

The incident was confirmed by the Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Adewale Osifeso, noting that the police had already begun investigation.
