Gunmen have abducted a pastor, Bung Dong, at Ganawuri community in Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The Plateau State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Alfred Alabo, who confirmed the incident on Monday, said the the cleric was abducted on Sunday night, alongside one Mr James Mann, who was later rescued.
Mann is the Principal of Government Secondary School Bum in Ganawuri and younger brother of the state Chief Judge, Justice David Mann.

Alabo, however, said the command has deployed police officers to the area to track down the gunmen and rescue the victim.
Meanwhile, the President of Atten Youths Movement, Song Moro, said the community has been experiencing serious security challenges for a while.
Moro said no fewer than four persons have been abducted in the area recently, adding that Mann was rescued by members of the vigilante group in the community from his abductors.
He further disclosed that the abductors were demanding N20 million ransom for the release of the cleric.
