Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted a member of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Laven Denty Jacob, in the state.
It was gathered that Jacob, representing Pankshin South, was abducted from his residence in Anguwan Kagji, Dong community, Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.
One of the lawmaker’s aides disclosed that the incident occurred at about 7:30 p.m. on Monday, September 22, 2025.
Gunmen kidnap Nasarawa governor’s aide
The aide stated that three masked men attacked the lawmaker at his gate, overpowering his security personnel and taking him away in their vehicle.
He added that the kidnappers have demanded a ransom of N50 million from the family.
The Plateau State Police Command has, however, yet to speak on the incident as of press time.
