Popular Nollywood actress, Bimpe Akintunde, has been attacked by unknown gunmen along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Saturday.
Akintunde made the disclosure via a post on her Instagram page on Saturday night.
The Nollywood actress, who revealed that she was attacked with her daughter, stated that the attack occurred after Oni Gari along the ever-busy Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, while she was heading to Lagos.
She wrote: “God saved me and my daughter. I can’t believe this.

“Like they were shooting directly at us!!!!! Where are we going in this country? Broad daylight attack!!!!!
“God came through for us. I turned back!!!!! I followed oneway and alerted other drivers too. Just help me thank God for my life and that of my innocent daughter. We are back in Ibadan safe and healthy, but in shock.”
