Unknown gunmen, in the early hours of Monday, attacked the residence of the governorship candidate of the Labour Party in Osun State, Hon. Lasun Yusuff, in Ilobu, Irepodun Local Government Area of the state.

The Osun State gubernatorial election has been slated for July 16, 2022.

It was gathered that Yusuff and his family members were in the house for the Eid-el-Kabir celebration when the building was attacked by the gunmen.
