Gunmen kidnap 3 students in Ondo, demand N15m ransom

Gunmen have abducted three students of the Federal College of Agriculture, Akure, while working at a farm near the Akure Airport in Ondo State.

The student were abducted at a farm settlement named Oke Oge in the Oba-ile area of Akure in North Local Government Area of Ondo State.

It was gathered that the victims who are students undergoing Industrial Training (IT) in the farm were abducted on Saturday evening.

The incident was confirmed by the Ondo State Public Relations Officer, Funmilayo Odunlami, on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.

Gunmen kidnap 7 travellers in Ondo

Odunlami said anti-kidnapping operatives of the command have been deployed to the area.

The Commander of Amotekun Corps in Ondo State, Adetunji Adeleye, confirmed the incident.

Adeleye said Amotekun officers and other security operatives in the state were coming to the whole area in search of the victims.

Meanwhile, a family source disclosed that the abductors have reached out to the families of the victims, demanding a ransom of N15 million.
