Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have killed a yet-to-be-identified man at Eke-Egede-Affa Road in Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State.
It was gathered that the man was killed by the gunmen while travelling with his family members on the road.
An eyewitness, who spoke on condition of anonymity, on Monday, March 11, 2024, disclosed that the gunmen attacked the family and killed the man on the spot, abducting his wife and daughter.

It was further learnt that the incident occurred at about 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 10.
Confirming the incident, the Enugu State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, said a manhunt for the kidnappers and rescue of the abducted victims were ongoing.
