Gunmen set Kaduna Catholic Parish house ablaze, kill seminarian

Gunmen, on Thursday night, set a Catholic Parish house ablaze, killing a seminarian, Stephen Naman, in Kamantan, Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The parish in Kamantan is under the Catholic Diocese of Kafanchan in Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

It was gathered that the gunmen stormed the parish house at about 8 p.m. and set it ablaze alongside a vehicle.

Sources disclosed that the seminarian died from the smoke he inhaled while trying to escape from the grasp of the attackers.

The incident was confirmed on Friday by the Kaduna State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansir Alhassan.
