Hallmark Newspaper publisher, Emeka Obasi, dies at 58

The publisher of Hallmark Newspaper, a business and finance daily newspaper, Prince Emeka Obasi, is dead.

It was gathered that Obasi, a veteran journalist and public relations expert, gave up the ghost on Wednesday after a prolonged illness.

He died at the age of 58.

It was further learned that the award winning journalist and former Abia State Commissioner for Information, had been battling a health challenge for over eight years.

The Abia State-born journalist is the founder and executive secretary of Public Policy Research and Analysis Centre (PPRAC), organisers of the Zik Prize in Leadership Award.
