‘I’ll never date Yahoo boy’ — Yul Edochie’s daughter

Danielle Edochie, daughter of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, has said she would never date an internet fraudster, popularly known as a “Yahoo boy,” regardless of how wealthy he may be.

Speaking in a video shared on social media, Danielle said she values financial success but would not pursue a relationship with someone whose wealth is derived from defrauding others.

According to her, she finds it surprising that some people question her position, insisting that she has no interest in dating individuals involved in internet fraud.

“I love money, but I will never date a Yahoo boy,” she said, adding that she would rather stay away from anyone whose lifestyle is built on exploiting other people for financial gain.

Her comments have since generated reactions on social media, with users expressing differing views on relationships, wealth and the growing prevalence of internet fraud among young Nigerians.
