inDrive commits N132m to reward drivers in Lagos, Abuja

inDrive has committed more than N132 million to reward drivers in Lagos and Abuja in a campaign that will offer 916 prizes, including two cars and school fee awards.

The reward campaign will run from October 5 to December 16, 2026, with drivers competing for four full academic-year school fee awards, 40 smartphones, 40 television sets and 830 shopping vouchers.

The two cars will go to drivers who complete the highest number of rides throughout the campaign.

According to the company, drivers will qualify by reaching the platinum tier, with every completed ride counting as an entry into the campaign. Drivers who complete more rides will therefore have more chances of winning in the six live-broadcast draws scheduled during the campaign.

The company said the initiative is aimed at recognising drivers and creating additional value for their participation on the platform.

Timothy Oladimeji, Country Manager, inDrive Nigeria, said the campaign reflects the company’s commitment to making the platform more beneficial to drivers.

“Our drivers are at the heart of the inDrive community, and we want to continue creating meaningful ways for them to benefit from being on the platform,” he said.

Oladimeji said drivers using inDrive have greater control over their work because they can agree fares with passengers and retain more of their earnings due to the platform’s low service fee.

He said the reward campaign builds on that model by providing drivers with additional opportunities to benefit from their activities on the platform.

Full terms and eligibility requirements for the campaign are available on the inDrive app.
