Insecurity: Consult concerned people for help, Kwankwaso tells FG

The presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, has urged the Federal Government to reach out to people with genuine concern to help it in addressing the security challenges bewildering the country.

Kwankwaso made the call on Saturday in Ilorin shortly after meeting Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, on a courtesy visit.

The former Minister of Defence said there were genuine reasons for concern on security situation in Nigeria, urging the Federal Government to wake up to the challenge.

He further advised the opposition senators rooting for the impeachment of President Muhammadu Buhari to tread with caution and not to create further damage.

The NNPP presidential candidate, who also visited the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, was in Kwara State to open NNPP offices in Ilorin, the state capital, and other parts of the state.
