The Governor Abdullahi Sule-led Media and Publicity sub-committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) failed to release accreditation tags to journalists to cover the party’s presidential primaries at the Eagle Square in Abuja on Tuesday.

The journalists, who were assigned to cover the primaries, were yet to gain access to the Eagle Square as they remain outside the venue of the exercise after security operatives denied them entry.

According to the programme of events, the exercise was scheduled to commence by 10am with the arrival of delegates.

The newsmen were, however, yet to be given tags to cover the presidential primaries as of the time of filing this report.
