Kaduna resident doctors suspend strike

The National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD), Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital in Kaduna State, has suspended its six-day warning strike.

The president of the chapter, Dr Josiah Yakubu, made this known on Monday, June 9, 2025.

Yakubu said the suspension followed an emergency congress on Saturday, as well as a series of meetings and interventions, particularly by the national and state leadership of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA).
