The lawmaker representing Shanono/Bagwai State Constituency in the Kano State House of Assembly, Halilu Kundila, has been confirmed dead.
It was gathered that Kundila, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), died at the age of 59 on Saturday, April 6, 2024.
It was further learnt that the lawmaker died at his residence in Kano State following a brief illness.

A family source confirmed the demise of the lawmaker on Sunday, April 7.
The source disclosed that the funeral prayer for Kundila was held on Sunday morning at Kundila in the Shanono Local Government Area of the state.
Kundila is survived by four wives and 17 children.
