Kogi LG chair slumps, dies

Hon. Muhammed Danasabe Muhammed, the Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Council of Kogi State, is dead.

Muhammed reportedly slumped in his house on Thursday night and was rushed to Shifa Hospital, Lokoja for treatment.

He was, however, confirmed dead at about 4:30a.m. on Friday.

The politician who has been active in the build up to the governorship election in Kogi on Saturday, November 11 will be buried on Friday at the Unguwan Kura Muslim cemetery after Juma’at prayer.
