‘Life threw me curveball’: Lil Kesh speaks on robbery attack

Nigerian singer Keshinro Ololade, popularly known as Lil Kesh, has broken silence after armed robbers attacked him in Lagos.

It was earlier reported that Lil Kesh was stabbed during a robbery attack in Lagos.

The 30-year-old singer was said to have lost jewellery worth millions of naira to the robbers during the incident, which occurred on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.

Graphic pictures that later went viral online showed the severity of his injuries, as the famous musician was rushed to a hospital where he received treatment and had his wounds stitched.

Lil Kesh stabbed, lose valuables in Lagos robbery

Speaking on the incident via a post on Instagram on Thursday, Lil Kesh described the attack as a “curveball” from life that he managed to escape.

He also expressed gratitude for his safety, just as he thanked fans and well-wishers for their support.

“Life threw me a curveball, but I’m safe, healing, and blessed to be here. Grateful for the love, support and prayers,” the singer wrote.
