Max Air appoints Abubakar Mangal as new CEO

The management of Max Air Limited has approved the appointment of Abubakar Dahiru Mangal as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the airline.

Mangal was appointed as the Max Air CEO over the weekend following the death of his Uncle Bashir Barau Mangal who was the CEO of Max Air.

The management of the airline, in a statement issued on Monday by its spokesperson, Ibrahim Dahiru, said it is optimistic that the new CEO will bring his wealth of experience in the aviation industry to boost the growth of the company, focus on delivering exceptional customer service, and expand the global reach of the airline.

“We look forward to Alhaji Abubakar’s leadership in driving the airline’s growth and success,” it added.

Until his new appointment as CEO, Mangal has been the Deputy Director of Finance of the airline.

He holds BA. Economics from the American University of Nigeria, Yola, Adamawa State; and MSc International Business Salford University, Manchester, United Kingdom.

He also holds MBA Finance and Investment from Bayero University Kano (BUK) and currently pursuing his Doctorate degree in Business Administration at Apollos University in the United States.
