Tragedy was averted on Sunday, May 7, as a Max Air aircraft conveying passengers from Adamawa State crash-landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
It was gathered that the aircraft crash-landed at the airport after its tyre burst into flames.
It was learned that the tyre burst occurred after takeoff at Yola Airport.
However, the aircraft crash-landed in Abuja with emergency officials already on the ground to put off the fire before the passengers disembarked at the runway.
