The police spokesman, however, noted that 30 persons earlier arrested in connection with the incident had been found not to have participated in the crime and were subsequently released unconditionally.

Hassan stated that investigations into the gruesome killing were still ongoing, adding that efforts had been intensified to identify and apprehend all individuals involved in the incident.

Hassan assured residents that every person found culpable would be brought to justice.

He quoted the Kaduna State Commissioner of Police, Muhammad Rabiu, as reiterating the command’s commitment to securing justice for the victim and maintaining law and order across the state.

Rabiu urged residents to remain calm, law-abiding, and continue to provide the police with credible information that could aid the ongoing investigation.
