Egyptian football star Mohamed Salah has been banned from driving in England for six months after being convicted of failing to identify the driver of his Rolls-Royce following a speeding offence.
The former Liverpool forward was also fined £1,044 over the offence, according to reports citing court documents.
The incident occurred on March 27 in Wilmslow, Cheshire, when the vehicle was recorded travelling at 36mph in a 30mph zone.
Salah was subsequently required to provide information identifying who was driving the car but failed to do so, leading to the conviction.
The six-month driving disqualification was imposed by a court in England.
The case dates back to Salah’s final period at Liverpool before his departure from the club at the end of the 2025/26 season.
