The naira opened the trading week with appreciation against the United States dollar at the official market, trading at N1,442.51 on Monday, December 29, 2025.
According to data released by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the naira gained 86 kobo.
This represents a 0.05 per cent gain when compared to December 24, 2025, when the local currency traded at N1,443.37 to a dollar.
