Naira crisis: Buhari to make national broadcast on Thursday

President Muhammadu Buhari will make a national broadcast on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at 7 a.m.

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity made the disclosure in a late statement on Wednesday, February 15, 2023.

“Television, radio stations, and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and Radio Nigeria for the broadcast,” he said.

President Buhari is expected to address the nation on the naira policy crisis.

There have been protests across the country on the implementation of the policy.

The Supreme Court on Wednesday adjourned hearing in the suit filed by some states against the Federal Government on the implementation of the naira policy by the CBN.
