Naira opens week positive, trades N1,365/$ at official market

The naira opened the week on a positive note, appreciating to N1,365.24 against the United States dollar at the official market on Monday, May 4, 2026.

Data released by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) showed that the local currency gained N9.69.
