The naira opened the new month on a positive note at the official market, trading at N1,364.83 against the United States dollar on Monday, August 3, 2026.
Data published by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) revealed that the naira gained N3.38.
This represented a 0.2 per cent gain when compared to Friday when the currency traded at N1,368.22 per dollar.
