The naira closed at the rate of N1,586.04 against the United States dollar at the official market on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.
Data from the official trading platform of the FMDQ Exchange, a platform that oversees the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM), showed that the naira lost N12.5.

The naira traded at an intra-day high of N1,595.00 and a low of N1,495.00 to a dollar on Tuesday.
