The operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have reportedly shot two persons dead in the Idioro area of Mushin, Lagos State.
It was gathered that the yet-to-be-identified victims were shot dead by the NDLEA officers during a raid in the area at about 10 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, 2023.
It was learnt that the victims were hit by stray bullets from the operatives of the anti-drug agency following a sporadic shooting in the area.
The NDLEA officers were said to have shot sporadically to scare hoodlums who attempted to scuttle their plan in Mushin.

A resident of the area, who gave his name simply as Olasunkanmi, disclosed that the stray bullets hit the victims on the head and chest.
Meanwhile, the NDLEA spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, has yet to speak on the incident as of press time.
The latest incident is coming barely two weeks after a two-year-old boy, Ivan Omorhiakogbe, was killed by a stray bullet from the NDLEA officers in Delta State.
A stray bullet also hit Ivan’s sibling, one-year-old Eromonsele, in his left eye and he is currently receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Centre in Asaba, the Delta State capital.
