Nigeria’s Ambassador to Morocco dies at 42

Nigeria’s Ambassador to Morocco, Alhaji Mansur Nuhu Bamalli, is dead.

He died at the age of 42.

Bamalli died at a private hospital in Lagos while on a transit to Morocco.

He is survived by a wife and 2 children.

The Zazzau emirate council in Kaduna State announced the death in a statement issued on Friday, October 20, 2023

The late envoy is the younger brother to the Emir of Zazzau.

The statement added that “funeral prayers will be announced later.”

Bamalli was appointed in 2022 by ex-President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Foreign Affairs Ministry recently recall all Nigerian ambassadors. They had up till October 31 to return to Nigeria.
