NLC, TUC declare strike in Imo over AJaero’s assault, nationwide Nov 14

The Nigeria Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) have declared an immediate strike in Imo State over the attack on the NLC President, Joe Ajaero, and other matters affecting workers in the state.

The NLC and TUC also resolved to declare a nationwide strike on November 14, if their demands are not met by the federal government.

The unions made the declaration at their “extraordinary” National Executive Council (NEC) meeting on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.
