NRC suspends Port Harcourt-Aba train service

The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has suspended the Port-Harcourt to Aba train service for routine maintenance.

The NRC Managing Director, Dr Kayode Opeifa, announced the suspension in a statement issued on Friday, September 5, 2025.

FG: Abuja-Kaduna train derailment not sabotage

Opeifa noted that the regular train services would resume on Tuesday, September 9.

“We regret all inconveniences,” he added.
