The development was disclosed by the command’s Public Relations Officer, SC Ibrahim Abdullahi, who said the suspects were apprehended at different locations across Kano State.
He stated that the arrests were made in areas including Gwarmai in Ghari Local Government Area, Challawa Industrial Area, Unguwar Rimi, and Waratallawa, all within Kumbotso Local Government Area.
“The Kano State Command of the NSCDC has successfully busted and arrested 10 suspected members of criminal gangs linked to offences such as vandalism, theft, criminal conspiracy, trespass, and receiving stolen property,” the statement said.
The suspects were paraded at the command’s headquarters on Tuesday by the State Commandant, Mohammed Hassan Agalama.
Items recovered from them include about 200 metres of aluminium conductor cables, mobile phones, copper wires, power banks, and weapons such as knives, cutlasses, swords, and scissors.
