The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, has promised to run an all-inclusive government if elected as governor of the state.
Oborevwori made the promise while receiving several groups, including some All Progressives Congress (APC) decampees from Udu and Ughelli South Local Government Areas, members of Olomu/Effurun-Otor Political Elites Forum, members of the Pharmaceutical Association of Nigeria, Delta State Branch, and some members of Agbarho Community, Delta Youth Political Alliance, at his residence in the Osubi area of the state on Sunday.
The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, who commended the groups for the show of love, urged them to translate it into victory for all PDP candidates in the forthcoming general election.

“I want to assure all Deltans that my government is going to be for everybody; it is going to be all-inclusiveness. Politics is time and season and this is our time. I will not disappoint Deltans. I will be servant leader and I will not lord it over the people.
“All Deltans will be carried along in my government as from May 29th, 2023. Vote for all candidates of the PDP in the forthcoming general elections. Let us put bitterness and grievances behind us and work for the victory of all PDP candidates.
“The Atiku-Okowa ticket is going to reset and rescue Nigeria from the destruction caused by the APC-led federal government,” Oborevwori stated.
The groups, however, pledged to work for Oborevwori’s victory and other PDP candidates in the 2023 general election.
