Odigie-Oyegun, Utomi lead ADC 50-member manifesto committee

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) on Wednesday announced the composition of a 50-member policy and manifesto committee to be chaired by the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), John Odigie-Oyegun.

The committee has Prof. Pat Utomi as its deputy chairman, and Salihu Lukman as secretary.

A statement issued by the ADC National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, said the constitution of the committee was approved by the National Working Committee leadership.

Abdullahi stated that the composition was in line with the party’s commitment to building a credible, people-centred, and forward-looking policy framework for national governance.

Abdullahi noted that the policy and manifesto committee brought together a distinguished group of Nigerians drawn from diverse backgrounds, including former public office holders, academics, and professionals.

“Collectively, they represent a wealth of experience in governance, economic management, social development, security, and democratic reform across Nigeria’s public and private sectors,” he said.

Abdullahi said the committee is tasked with articulating a clear, coherent, and credible policy direction reflecting Nigerians’ aspirations and positioning the ADC platform.

He further expressed confidence that the committee would deliver a manifesto that spoke to the real needs of Nigerians across all regions, sectors, and communities
