Ogun APC unveils campaign council, secretariat Saturday

The Ogun State chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is set to inaugurate the state campaign secretariat and unveil the membership of the various directorates of its campaign council.

The Ogun APC, in a statement issued on Friday by its Publicity Secretary, Tunde Oladunjoye, said the simultaneous inauguration of the campaign secretariat and unveiling of the Chairman, Director General, Deputy Director General, Secretary and members of the state campaign council will hold on Saturday, December 10, 2022.

“Our new, ultra modern and colourfully branded state campaign secretariat, which will also serve as the Asiwaju/Shetima presidential campaign office in Ogun State, will be inaugurated by the state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, in his capacity as the Ogun State Coordinator of APC-Presidential Campaign Council,” the party stated.

The APC further urged its members to “leave no stone unturned in ensuring overwhelming victory for all APC candidates in our agenda to continue to build our future together.”
“We are very proud of the numerous achievements of our leader and gubernatorial candidate, Prince Dapo Abiodun, in all the sectors of the economy; health – especially in the containment of Covid 19 pandemic despite sharing of boundary with Lagos, the epic centre; Housing- construction of about 1,500 housing units in different parts of the state, which in an unprecedented manner, have been oversubscribed; ongoing construction of the Agro-Cargo Airport, construction and reconstruction of at least a road in each of the 20 local government areas of the state, construction/reconstruction of flagship roads like the Ijebu Ode-Mojoda-Epe Road, Sagamu-Abeokuta Road, Atan-Lusaka-Agbara Road, and many more; provision of funding, inputs and specialised services to farmers, and so on.

“Governor Abiodun’s sterling performance has been attested to by local, national and international bodies with various credible awards including the recent award of Excellence in Public Service for Industrial Revolution presented by President Muhammadu Buhari; and Governor of the Year by Vanguard Newspaper and Leadership Newspaper.

“We are very confident that Ogun people will re-elect Governor Dapo Abiodun having delivered on his electoral promises,” the ruling party added.
