The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, has declared that he has no hands in the alleged plot to impeach Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde.
Olubadan, who made this known in a statement issued by his media aide, Adeola Oloko, described the allegation as not only false but misleading.
The monarch also warned against dragging his throne into what he described as dirty politics.

Ladoja said it was illogical to suggest that a traditional ruler could have the constitutional authority to remove a sitting governor, stressing that even a local government chairman cannot be impeached by any traditional ruler.
Ladoja reiterated his commitment to the traditional institution, urging political actors in Oyo State to refrain from involving the revered throne in partisan controversies.
