Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has called on voters in the ongoing Osun State governorship election to remain at their polling units until the results are uploaded to the Independent National Electoral Commission’s Result Viewing (IReV) portal.
Davido, in a post shared on his X account on Saturday, August 15, 2026, urged residents to safeguard their votes by closely monitoring the electoral process.
“Don’t leave your polling unit until it’s being uploaded on the IREV, protect your vote now. Imole All the way,” he wrote.

The singer, who hails from Osun State and has been an outspoken supporter of Governor Ademola Adeleke, used the phrase “Imole all the way,” the popular political slogan associated with the governor, who is seeking re-election on the platform of Accord Party.
