The operatives of the Osun State Police Command have arrested a member of the State House of Assembly representing Irewole/Isokan Constituency, Abiola Ibrahim, alongside 146 suspected political thugs in Ikire, Irewole Local Government Area of the state.
The Osun State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abiosun Ojelabi, confirmed the arrest on Saturday, August 15, 2026.
Ojelabi said the lawmaker, a member of Accord Party, was arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Intelligence Response Team (IRT) in the early hours of Saturday.
