In a show of support and encouragement for Nigeria’s economic leadership, Femi Otedola,
Chairman, First Bank of Nigeria, paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, and the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, in Abuja.
Otedola praised the Finance Minister for his unwavering tenacity, passion, and commitment to reviving the nation’s economy in line with President Bola Tinubu’s economic agenda, which is rooted in the promise of hope and prosperity for all Nigerians.
“His tenacity, passion, and commitment to turning around Nigeria’s economy and delivering on Tinubu’s economic mandate of hope and prosperity for all are evident.
“I met a man deeply invested in making Nigeria work, giving his all against the odds,” he said.
Otedola also commended Senator Bagudu, describing him as a “firebrand” in the current administration.
He lauded the Budget Minister’s strategic focus on translating the “Budget of Renewed Hope” into tangible outcomes such as economic growth, employment creation, and infrastructure development through focused capital spending.
“There’s no doubt both men are putting in the work,” he affirmed.
“The task is enormous, but so is their drive.”
The visit underscores growing confidence in the efforts of the President’s economic team and highlights the importance of collaboration and determination in achieving national economic transformation.
Both ministers expressed appreciation for the visit and reiterated their commitment to fulfilling the administration’s mandate of delivering sustainable economic growth and improved living conditions for all Nigerians.
