Otedola emerges varsity Chancellor, gifts 750 students N750m

Billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, has gifted 750 students of Augustine University in the Epe area of Lagos N1 million each.

Otedola gifted the students the money after he was inaugurated as the Chancellor of the university on Thursday, October 26, 2023.

The businessman made the disclosure via a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Thursday.

Sharing pictures from his inauguration, Otedola stated: “Today, I was inaugurated as the Chancellor of Augustine University.

“I strongly believe in transforming establishments that I am associated with.

“I gave a gift of One Million to each of the Seven Hundred and Fifty Students. I hope this donation of Seven Hundred and Fifty Million Naira assists the plight of the parents of our students in this difficult time…”
