The chairman of the Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Isaac Omodewu, is dead.
It was gathered that Omodewu, who left Nigeria for treatment in the United States in 2023, died on Sunday, August 18, 2024.
The Oyo APC chairman died about a year after undergoing treatment for an undisclosed ailment in the U.S. where he was a citizen.

His demise was confirmed by the APC Publicity Secretary in Oyo State, Olawale Sadare, on Monday, August 19.
Omodewu, who hailed from Otu in Itesiwaju Local Government Area of Oyo State, served as a commissioner under the administration of the late former Governor Abiola Ajimobi.
He recently completed his law degree and law school.
