The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has shifted its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting earlier scheduled for May 5 to Tuesday, May 10, 2022.
The main opposition party disclosed this via a statement issued by the PDP National Secretary, Sen. Samuel Anyanwu, on Monday night.
Anyanwu said the earlier date clashed with the local government delegate election involving all party members, adding that all inconveniences were regretted.
He noted that the NEC meeting was scheduled to hold at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.

Similarly, the PDP National Working Committee (NWC) also rescheduled the screening appeal for all aspirants for governorship and president from Tuesday, May 3 to Wednesday, May 4.
The party, in a separate statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Debo Ologunagba, on Monday night, said the adjustment in date was occasioned by the Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
“The NWC apologises for any inconveniences this change in date might have caused,” Ologunagba stated.
