The senators elected on the platform of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) walked out of the Senate on Wednesday after a motion on security by the Minority Leader, Sen. Philip Aduda, was dismissed.
The motion was dismissed by the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, saying Aduda did not speak to him about the motion as required by their rules.
It was gathered that some lawmakers who were displeased with the insecurity in the country had threatened to impeach President Muhammadu Buhari.
