Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has paid a visit to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan in Abuja.
Atiku, in a statement on Sunday, said the visit marked their first meeting since Jonathan’s return from an official engagement in Guinea-Bissau.
The former vice president described the visit as a “pleasure,” noting that he was glad to reconnect with the former president.

“It was a pleasure catching up with former President Goodluck Jonathan, yesterday evening, following his recent return from Guinea-Bissau,” he wrote on X.
Although details of Atiku’s visit to Jonathan was not disclosed, the meeting comes amid ongoing political consultations and heightened activity ahead of the 2027 general election.
