French President Emmanuel Macron, on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, hosted President Bola Tinubu in Paris, the capital of France.
The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed this via a post on his X handle.
Onanuga revealed that Tinubu and Macron met during a working private lunch at the Elysee Palace in Paris on Wednesday.

The Star recalls that Tinubu departed Abuja last Thursday, September 4, to commence a working vacation in Europe, as part of his 2025 annual leave.
Onanuga had, in a statement, announced that the vacation will last 10 working days.
He added that the president will spend the period between France and the United Kingdom and then return to Nigeria.
