Former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, former Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola and other prominent Nigerians on Thursday attended the burial service of Anthony Adeosun, husband of former Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun.
The service was held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David, Trinity Towers, Victoria Island, Lagos State.

Anthony, a businessman, died on August 5, 2026, at the age of 62, according to a statement issued by Rev. C.A. Adeosun on behalf of the family.
Among the dignitaries at the service were Osinbajo and his wife; Fashola; former Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi; Florence Ajimobi, widow of former Oyo State Governor Abiola Ajimobi; former President of the African Development Bank, Akinwumi Adesina; and the Executive Chairman of the Nigeria Revenue Service, Dr Zacch Adedeji.

Other dignitaries, family members, friends and associates of the deceased also attended the service to pay their final respects.
Anthony was survived by his wife, Kemi, his children and siblings, including Adewale Adeosun, founder of Kuramo Capital.

Following the church service, the family proceeded with the private burial of the deceased.
