President Bola Tinubu has appointed a 400-level student of the University of Ibadan (UI) in Oyo State, Orire Agbaje, as a member of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms.
Agbaje is an Economics student of UI and the President of the Nigerian Universities Tax Club.
President Tinubu inaugurated the committee at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.

The Special Adviser to the President on Special Duties, Communications and Strategy, Dele Alake, in a statement on July 7, 2023, announced the establishment of the committee by Tinubu.
The committee is chaired by the Fiscal Policy Partner and Africa Tax Leader at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Taiwo Oyedele.
The committee comprises experts from both the private and public sectors and will be responsible for various aspects of tax law reforms, fiscal policy design and coordination, harmonization of taxes, and revenue administration.
