The operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a 24-year-old man, Solomon Ogunnike, in possession of three locally made pistols in the Ketu area of the state.
The command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed the arrest on his X account on Tuesday.
Hundeyin stated that the suspect was apprehended by officers of Ketu Division while on a stop-and-search patrol at Y Junction, Ketu, on Monday, November 27.

The police spokesman said: “While on stop and search duty at Y Junction, Ketu on November 27, 2023, officers of Ketu Division found in possession of one Solomon Ogunnike ‘m’ aged 24 three locally made single barrel pistols wrapped in a brown cloth.
“The suspect has been arrested and investigation is ongoing.”
